Corporate Relations Committee

The Corporate Relations Committee connects MHESA members with healthcare organizations so they may better identify their future career goals and build relationships with active professionals. Corporate Relations provides students with opportunities to develop their networking skills. They also seek to give students the opportunity to interact with leaders in various sectors of the healthcare industry to gain valuable insights, foster professional growth, and develop as future healthcare leaders.
Corporate Events Committee
Co-Chairs: Andrea Arathoon and Morgan Leske
The Corporate Events Committee works with the Corporate Relations Committee to host and plan the Fall Career Exposition and other events with MHESA's corporate partners. Corporate Events aims to provide students with an enriching experience and opportunities to interact with healthcare professionals and peers in a collaborative environment.
Campus & Alumni Outreach Committee
Co-Chairs: David Cook and Rebecca Solheim
The Campus and Alumni Outreach Committee engages alumni in development activities to build and foster relationships that support students on campus, post-graduation and throughout their careers. New this year, the committee's key initiatives will be coordinating mock interviews with alumni, fundraising, and promoting interprofessional collaborations and Midwest Chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executive (MCACHE) events.
Professional Development Committee
Co-Chairs: Lamah Asadullah and Tyler Gregory
The Professional Development Committee supports the development of SPH students in key areas including recruitment, interviewing, and etiquette by hosting panels, mock interviews, and interactive sessions with alumni. By assisting students in cultivating their interests, the Professional Development Committee ensures that our students are well prepared and excited about their future careers.

The Social Committee promotes a healthy work/life balance for MHESA's busy students and cultivates meaningful relationships within the organization. They strive to ensure that members have experiences that allow them to grow in both their professional and personal relationships. Additionally, the Social Committee plans the events for alumni, recruiters, and other professional and academic institutions to connect with our SPH students in a relaxed and informal manner.

The Philanthropy Committee seeks to engage HMP students in giving back to our community in a way that is mutually beneficial. Philanthropic events and projects through MHESA are opportunities to immerse yourself in public health and/or apply the skills learned in the classroom.
