Chanell Cook, President
Chanell is the President of MHESA. She is a second year student studying Health Management and Policy. Before coming to the University of Michigan she attended UCLA where she studied Psychology, and has experience working in quality improvement and population health at both UCLA and University of Utah Health. Chanell spent the summer interning at Allina Health. She is passionate about aligning financial incentives to promote health over healthcare and using technology along with behavioral economics to leverage patients as an underutilized asset for better health outcomes.

Peter Geppert, Vice President of Operations
Peter is the VP of Operations for MHESA, with responsibility for coordination within the organization. He is a second year student studying Health Management and Policy.  He comes to University of Michigan with bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Peter has experience as a project manager for Epic and is currently a graduate student researcher at the University of Michigan Center for Value-Based Insurance Design. He spent the summer at Massachusetts General Hospital in perioperative services.

Rebecca Cray, Vice President of Communications
Rebecca is the VP of Communications for MHESA, with responsibility for the organization's internal and external communications.  From Madison, Wisconsin, Rebecca attended Duke University where she earned bachelor's degrees in Anthropology and Global Health. She has experience in community health improvement as a public health advisor for the Centers for Disease Control. She spent the summer interning at Michigan Medicine in Ambulatory Care Services. Rebecca is interested in ambulatory operations, primary care practice transformation and population health improvement.

Esha Kamath, Vice President of Finance
Esha is the VP of Finance for MHESA, and oversees the finances of the organization. She is a second year student studying Health Management and Policy. She comes to University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree in Neurobiology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Esha spent the summer interning at Cleveland Clinic. She is passionate about improving patient access, outcomes and experience.
